Subaru Loves to Care
Whether they live in our homes or in the wild, Subaru is committed to keeping all animals safe and healthy.
Loving the environment means more than loving the great outdoors. It means working to preserve it.
It’s our goal to make the pursuit of knowledge available to as many minds as possible.
In a perfect world, hunger would be history and hope would be commonplace. We believe a perfect world is possible.
We should all have a chance to lead a healthy life. We’re aiming to give as many people that chance as we can.
Our Love Promise can be seen in various partnerships with local charities and non-profits. We're grateful for the opportunity, not only to be a part of our community, but to serve it as well.
Today, Bob LaRiche from LaRiche Subaru proudly presents a Share the Love check for $13,500 to Ashley Ritz, Director of the Open Arms Domestic Violence Shelter along with it's board. During Subaru's Share the Love event all December long anyone buying or leasing a new Subaru can pick from one of the four national charities such as Make-A-Wish, Meals on Wheels, National Park Foundation, ASPCA, or they can choose a hometown charity chosen by the dealer. Near and dear to Bob and Tiare LaRiche and our dealership is the Open Arms Domestic Violence Shelter. Overwhelmingly, 54 new Subaru owners out of 60 chose Open Arms!! $250 was donated for every car delivered!! LaRiche Subaru is Proudly Invested In Your Community! This year more than $23.4 million was donated by Subaru and it's dealers!! Since inception of the Share the Love event more than $94 million has been donated. Love. It's what makes a Subaru a Subaru!
Every year LaRiche Subaru is happy to donate to the Hope House here in Findlay, Ohio, and it's not too late for you to donate to help families in the area rebuild their lives! In 2016, LaRiche Subaru has helped 4 families with rent while they got new skills and education for better paying jobs, 3 moms and seven kids who now wont have to sleep in cars and tents, and 200 scared people were welcomed with respect and walked away with hope! Visit the Hope House website to donate online or stop in at their location at 1800 North Blanchard st Suite 106 Findlay, Ohio 45840 to drop off items to donate and make this Christmas joyful for everyone!
This is the fifth year Wood County Committee on Aging (WCCOA) has partnered with LaRiche Subaru for the Subaru Share the Love event. Employees from the dealership assisted with the delivery of the home delivered meals, for our Holiday Lunch, in the North Baltimore Area. LaRiche provided new Subarus for the day to deliver the meals. The homebound older adults look forward to this meal and their visit from the Subaru employees. With the help of Subaru and Meals on Wheels of America (MOWA) we are able to raise awareness of the importance of a hot, nutritious meal to our older, frail clients. Until the end of the year, Subaru will donate $250 for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased to the customer's choice of participating charity, including MOWA.
WCCOA and LaRiche Subaru have had a special partnership over the past several years. As part of Subaru's "Share the Love" event, LaRiche joins WCCOA at the North Baltimore Area Senior Center every December for our special holiday meal. LaRiche delivers meals to older adults in the area in new Subaru vehicles. We at WCCOA, as a non-profit organization, can then apply for a grant with Meals on Wheels America. This partnership means so much, not only to all of us at WCCOA, but also to the older adults who benefit from LaRiche Subaru's kindness and generosity.
LaRiche Subaru's Share the Love has special meaning for the Humane Society & SPCA of Hancock County when it comes to helping the animals. The Halloween Party with your pets was a wonderful celebration to collect wish list items and donations to care for our shelter animals. In our lives, our pets ask for so little but bring so much more to us. The kindness of everyone at LaRiche and the community truly shows the love to our animals.

As a 1st and 2nd grade teacher, there is SO much time and energy spent on lesson planning and making learning fun for students. Not to mention, the amount of money that teacher's spend on their own to find materials and supplies to help their students learn the best! My students and I were blessed this fall by being "adopted" by LaRiche Toyota Subaru. Their donation of money, supplies, and materials have already greatly helped out and will continue throughout the year. We can't thank you enough for the time and money you have given to further the education of our community's learners! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
LaRiche Subaru is very proud when it comes to any local charitable service. For the month of June 2015 LaRiche Subaru started collecting non-perishable items to help our local Chopin Hall in Findlay, Ohio. If you'd like to help our community, visit: chopinhall.org/ for ways that you can support those in need.
Buzz.. Remember back in grad school you had to take those silly spelling bee challenges? I bet you didn't know at that time you could be part of a group started by Dolly Parton in 1995 to help raise educational support to children. Making A Difference: Dolly's Imagination Library became so popular that in the year 2000 she announced that she would make the program available for replication to any community that was willing to partner with her to support it locally. Since the initial program launch in the United States, Dolly Parton's Imagination Library has gone from just a few dozen books to over 60,000,000 books mailed to children in the United States, into Canada and across the proverbial pond into the United Kingdom! Already statistics and independent reports have shown Dolly Parton's Imagination Library drastically improves early childhood literacy for children enrolled in the program. Further studies have shown improved scores during early literacy testing. LaRiche is so proud to be invested in this program; they're now Findlay's top sponsor for the annual Spelling Bee challenge by the Literacy Coalition of Hancock County. This year the challenge was held at Findlay's First Presbyterian Church on 4/28/15.

LaRiche couldn't be more "Proudly Invested!"
The staff and Board of Directors at Open Arms Domestic Violence & Rape Crisis Services were absolutely astounded to receive over $10,000 from The Subaru Share the Love event and LaRiche Toyota Subaru! Thank you so much for the amazing generosity and community minded spirit!
LaRiche Subaru has partnered with Wood County Committee on Aging, Inc again to help fight senior isolation and hunger by distributing meals to older adults in southern Wood County. This event happened December 11th, 2014. Meals were loaded up into the backs of 2 Foresters for delivery. Associates from LaRiche drove around with a co-pilot from the North Baltimore Senior Center to distribute meals. The event raised community awareness and participation to support local seniors in need. This local effort is part of the Meals on Wheels Association of America's participation in the Subaru of America, Inc's national year-end "Share the Love" event, designed as a way for Subaru retailers to give back to their local communities. For every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased from November 20, 2014 through January 2, 2015, Subaru will donate $250 to the purchaser's choice of participating organizations. By the end of this, the seventh "Share the Love" event, Subaru will have donated $50 million to charity over the past six years - including the delivery of one million meals to seniors in need.
